SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

wholesalebasketcompany.com, in conjunction with our carriers, will attempt to deliver a product on the requested day. wholesalebasketcompany.com will make every attempt to ship every product on time directly to the address specified. Occasionally, this may not be possible. Please read our policy below about how we handle exceptions.


1. What is your shipping cut-off time?
If your order is placed before 2:00 pm EST on a Business Day (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) we ship the same day 99.9% of the time.


2. Can I select my shipping date?

Yes. At the time you place your order you may put a shipping date as much as 30 days in the future.


3. What are your shipping rates?

We charge the rates below for all shipments. To use "Xpress Save" or "2nd Day" or "Next Day" shipment method, complete placing your order and then please contact us using our contact form or by email to advise of this shipping preference. The balance of the shipping fee will then be charged to you.

As you can see, there are different calculations for Actual Weight and Dimensional Weight. For Ground shipments, carriers such as UPS, FEDEX and DHL use actual weight. This means an 8lb box is the same price regardless of its dimensions.  

For Air Shipments UPS, FEDEX and DHL use a different calculation called Dimensional Weight, which is more expensive than the normal shipping price because it includes an additional charge based on the size of the box. So, as in the example of the 8lb pound box, the cost to ship can vary widely depending on the size of the box.

The good news----85% of all shipments are sent via "Freight Saver" or "Express Saver" which are based on Actual Weight and are very inexpensive.


4. Can you guarantee my shipment will reach it's recipient at a specific date?

No delivery date is guaranteed unless "Next Day" or "2nd Day" shipment method is chosen and we cannot guarantee the time of delivery. However, wholesalebasketcompany.com will use its best efforts to deliver on or near the 'Shipping Date' you specified at the time of order.


5. My shipment did not arrive on time, can you give me a credit?

Yes. In the event wholesalebasketcompany.com fails to ship a product on time and it fails to arrive on time, a $10.00 Courtesy Shipping Credit shall be issued to your PayPal account used to pay for the initial shipment. This does not apply to bulk orders which takes much more time and resources to create and ship.


6. What happens if I put the wrong address for a shipment?

An Address Correction fee of $10.00 for "Xpress Saver" and $20 for any other shipping method will be assessed and charged to offset the costs of correcting and rerouting a product shipment with an incorrect address to its intended destination. This fee will be charged whenever you enters an incorrect street address for an order such as an apartment/suite number that is missing or incorrect, a postal code that is missing or incorrect or any other discrepancy from the address of record shown the US postal records or in the records of the shipping carrier. Address Correction fees are generally assessed within 10 to 30 days of the shipment date as wholesalebasketcompany.com is billed back by carrier.
However, we are not responsible for products delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by you. Nor will we be responsible for unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present at time of delivery at the address supplied by you, decreased product quality due to an incorrect delivery address supplied by you, a re-route requested by you, or product quality problems caused by improper handling by the recipient.


7. I forgot my Gift Message, what can I do?

If you send us an email before our shipping cut-off time (2:00 pm EST), we'll make every effort to make sure your message makes it into the package. Even though, we'll try to help you, due to the large amount of work that occurs during the morning before the cut-off, we can't guarantee that we'll get the message in the package for you.


8. Can I edit or cancel my order?

We do not allow orders to be edited or cancelled within one business day of the requested delivery date, or within the three (3) business days prior to Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, because of our extremely high volume of orders during these times.


9. Can you package several items together and discount the shipping further?

We do not package several items together and ship them together due to the fact that shipping multiple items in one box frequently caused the product to become damaged.
